Work and Travel USA

Work and Travel USA is a cultural exchange program. It is an opportunity for all international students to live and work legally in the USA, to explore the American social life, to improve their knowledge of English, to meet new friends.

Work and Travel USA gives a chance to all students to work up to 4 months within the period May-October as well as to travel in the USA for a period of up to 30 days after the end date on the DS 2019 form.

Short History

During the 60’s the American State Department set up a series of programs through which young people from around the world had the opportunity to experience the American lifestyle, on a pre-determined period of time. It was initially just a travel program, but it became a genuine force motion, once a more generous program, named Work and Travel, was put forward.
